BBPP1103 Assignment

I noticed that many friends started asking around on the myVLE forum about this assignment.
Maybe, they are just too excited to start while others are still not aware about this.

To be able to do this task, lets look at the Assignment Question which can be downloaded from myVLE.
(if you're still unsure where to find this, click here - but please log in to myVLE first :P)

I shall summarize and pinpoint only the keywords to make it easier to understand.
"Purpose
... identify and evaluate the structure of an organisation ..."

This relates to Topic 4 - Organisation Design, thus the assignment has to follow this syllabus

"Requirement
... interview a manager ... organisational structure ... formal evaluation report ..."

So there are 3 major tasks here:
1) Interview a Manager : this can be of any organisation (organisation should be a group of people working towards achieving goals), so don't interview a one-man-show business owner lah :P

2) Analyse & evaluate the Organisational structure : read more on Topic 4 and you'll get the idea

3) Transform item (2) into a Formal Evaluation Report

How Important this Assignment to Us?
According to the FBM Assessment Method for BBPP1103, the assignment accounts for 40% while the remaining will be from Final Exam.

How to Score Good Marks?
Refer the rubrics.
