Course Description

BBPP1103 Principles of Management is one of the courses being offered by the

Faculty of Business and Management at Open University Malaysia (OUM). This

course is worth 3 credit hours and should be covered over 8 to 15 weeks.

 

Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you should be able to:

1. Describe the basic concepts, functions and basic skills in management;

2. Describe the management of an organisation including employees, and physical resources;

3. Explain the changes in management and the current management practice of today's business; and

4. Apply the principles of management to the work place.
